PREBUILT DESIGN
Have your hand drawn sketches built into 3D models
PreBuilt Design is a method of construction that allows for homes and other structures to be drawn in the office then built in a controlled environment. A PreBuilt on-site project is a great way to eliminate unexpected delays and material waste. A Prebuilt Design will also save time and money on your next project.
In addition to our 3D floor plans we still produce 2D plans that are suitable for obtaining building permits and project funding.
Prebuilt Design also produces 2D plans that are suitable for obtaining building permits and project funding. These plans are helpful to bidding subcontractors.
Our 360-degree 3D cameras offer valuable insights to the design process.
Our designers will listen to what the owners desire in their project. We'll then draw to your specifications, offering our experience when asked for as needed.
Having a solid set of plans enables the building process to work more smoothly. Trades will be glad to have details they can physically view to complete your project.
Prebuilt Design can display your project with the exact background and as much detail as required.
Prebuilt Design can give you the length of every "stick" needed for your project. This means less waste which saves time and money.
Having the Chief Architect extensive library of items for your home or property makes the design aspect and decision making, fun.
Before spending money, it's nice to visualize what the outcome will be. That's why having a Prebuilt Design makes sense today.
Send your hand-drawn sketch, fire plan, or pictures of an existing plan and get back the type of file you prefer. Our 3D software allows architects, engineers, and businesses a chance to view hardware locations and what the network will look like before buying additional equipment or starting of new construction.
Dale Buckey has been building and remodeling homes along the Maine and Rhode Island coastlines for thirty years. Some of his earlier homes were built on the remote islands of Casco Bay in Maine. The past five years he's drawn and designed projects with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) to help builders and homeowners preview what their project will look like in 3 dimensions. (3-D)
After spending too many seasons working outdoors in some brutal weather Mr. Buckey came to the realization that maybe he was doing it wrong for his clients? Buckey discovered that his clients would like the chance to see different style doors and windows, different siding types, or roof shingle colors and materials before work started.
As a builder and designer, Dale became aware that what looks good on the drawing board might not work out in the field. Using 3D CAD software like Chief Architect helps eliminate any "physics type" situation where two different objects want to occupy the same place at the same time. Armed with this technology, Dale continues to advocate the use of prebuilt modules constructed at off-site locations.
